Philippe CHIUCo-CEO & Co-Founder of UnaBiz

Philippe Chiu is a French-Born Chinese who grew up in a multicultural environment with Western culture/ education and Chinese traditions.

Formerly based in Paris, France, Philippe relocated to Taipei, Taiwan when he co-founded UnaBiz in 2016, an IoT company that enables massive IoT with custom designed low-power connectivity solutions and services. Since then, the company has grown tremendously in size, selling to 28 countries worldwide from offices in Singapore, Taiwan and Japan. 

In 2020, UnaBiz raised US$25M in its series B from investors including Sparx (JP), CDIB (TW), GK Goh (SG) and Thaioil (TH). As the Co-CEO of UnaBiz, Philippe focuses on group-wide developments and formulating longer-term strategies to better address challenges within the super-fragmented IoT industry. The mission of UnaBiz is to unite people and technology to create an impact on a massive scale. The company wants to help every person and every organisation on the planet live smarter, simpler, and in a more sustainable way.

Philippe holds an executive MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from EPITECH Paris. Prior to UnaBiz, Philippe was the Managing Director of IONISx, a subsidiary especially created for Higher Education Digital Transformation. He has also held the position of Infrastructure Security Manager at ACCOR, a leading global hospitality group, managing the security of worldwide IT infrastructure (data centers, head offices and hotels).
