[Club HR] | Handle Workplace Misconduct/Harassment:
The Club HR Launch Meeting took place on 12 March 2025 at TotalEnergies Offices from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The meeting saw participation from various companies, including representatives from TotalEnergies, Thales, ST, CACIC, Hermes, Ceva, AirBus, Safran, Volkswagen, and the French Chamber Taiwan.
The meeting started with welcome remarks from Stéphane Peden and Maxime Dejaeghere, who thanked all the members for their participation. They explained that the "Club HR" initiative, launched by the French Chamber Taiwan, aims to create a dynamic platform for HR professionals to share insights and challenges. The goal is to facilitate tailor-made workshops and collaborative sessions with speakers for future meetings.
Jenny Liao from TotalEnergies presented on best practices to handle workplace misconduct and harassment. She emphasized the importance of the company's Code of Conduct, which focuses on safety, respect, and adherence to working rules. The prevention and correction of sexual harassment were discussed, highlighting the role of the Sexual Harassment Committee and the steps involved in the procedure. Regular communication and training, including mandatory fraud and corruption sessions, were stressed to maintain a safe and respectful work environment. The presentation included case studies to illustrate the process and the importance of following the company's policies.
During the brainstorming and exchanges session, participants shared experiences and ideas. A common issue was identified, which will become the new topic for the next meeting in June: "How to Find and Attract Young Talent."
