2025 Annual General Assembly

The General Assembly allows all members to express their opinions to the French Chamber regarding its activities and events. All questions and comments are welcomed to make our community more active and improve the chamber’s services to be better suited to members' needs. The Assembly will be conducted in English.

  • One company, one vote.
  • One company, one delegation.
  • Associated and Honorary members are not entitled to vote or run for the Board.

Registration is compulsory due to the limited number of participants. (The Buffet is free for one person per company, 1,900 NTD / person will be charged for every extra person.)

Please note: The membership fee has to be settled before the event to be entitled to vote.

The French Chamber Taiwan is calling for dynamic and committed candidates to join its Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the Chamber’s future and driving meaningful initiatives that benefit our members and the wider business ecosystem.

Positions Open for Election

  • Board of Directors (9 seats) – Provide strategic direction and oversee Chamber operations.

  • Alternate Directors (2 seats) – Step in when needed to ensure continuity in leadership.

  • Supervisors (3 seats)  – Ensure transparency and adherence to governance best practices.

How to Apply

  • Submit Your Candidacy – Send your application before March 28, including a short biography, one profile picture and statement of intent, explaining your vision and how you can contribute to the Chamber’s mission.

  • Engage with the Community – Be prepared to present your ideas and connect with members during the election period.

  • Vote & Participate – Members will have the opportunity to vote in the upcoming Annual General Assembly.

If you are unable to attend the Assembly, you may choose to vote by proxy, allowing a fellow member to vote on your behalf.

You have options for proxy voting

1. Fill out the vote yourself and send it in a sealed envelope:

a) Assign someone (with their agreement) to deposit the envelope in the box on the day of the AGM.

b) If you don't have anyone to do this, you can mandate the chamber to find a member to do it for you.

2. Authorize someone else to fill out the vote for you:

a) Assign someone (with their agreement) to fill out the vote and deposit it in the box on the day of the AGM.

b) If you don't have anyone to do this, you can mandate the chamber to find a member to fill out the vote and deposit it for you.

How It Will Be Done

April 11 Deadline to return your proxy ballot.

  • Post your hardcopy ballot to the French Chamber no later than 6 days before the AGM.
  • Indicate your company name on the sealed envelope.
  • Your ballot will remain sealed.

April 17 AGM "D-Day"

  • An attending member on-site will cast your ballot into the ballot box for you.
  • Your ballot will be counted.

If you have a dedicated person to vote on your behalf:

  • Consult with the person to ensure they are not acting on behalf of others. Only one proxy can be allocated per person.
  • Download and complete the details of your company and your proxy in the form.
  • By April 11, email your proxy form to the Chamber.

Alternatively, you can ask the Chamber to assign a proxy for you:

  • Download and complete the proxy form, leaving the proxy details blank.
  • By April 11, email your proxy form to the Chamber.
