International Women’s Day Celebration

We are thrilled to invite you to our International Women’s Day Celebration organized by the French Office, the French Chamber Taiwan, and La French Tech Taiwan. This special event is designed to empower, inspire, and connect women leaders and emerging talents across industries.


Event Highlight

The evening will unfold in three engaging parts:

Panel Discussion ‘Women in Politics’ (Open to All)
Gain valuable insights from an inspiring lineup of high-profile female leaders in politics. They will share their journeys, challenges, and strategies for success in a dynamic and thought-provoking discussion.

Mentorship Sessions (Women preferred)
Engage in small-group discussions with distinguished speakers and community leaders from diverse backgrounds—ranging from executives in French retail and industry to tech founders, academic influencers, and innovators.
Participants will rotate groups every 10–15 minutes, ensuring a breadth of perspectives and enriching exchanges.

Networking Session (Open to All)
Wrap up the evening by building meaningful connections with peers, mentors, and thought leaders over refreshments in a relaxed setting.

Panel Discussion ‘Women in Politics’ (Open to All)

Meet our speakers:

  • Yun Fan: Democratic Progressive Party legislator-at-large.

  • Chiayo Kuo: President of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association (TDDA) & member of the International Affairs Committee of the Taiwan Network Information Center

  • Yen-Jong Lee: Director of the Department for Gender Equality at the DPP and founder of Y.J. Lee & Associates

  • Po-Ya Miao: Elected Taipei City Councilor for the 6th district since 2018 (two terms)


Mentorship Sessions (Women preferred)

  • Eva Leihener-Stefan: CEO L’Oréal Taiwan and Chairwoman French Chamber Taiwan

  • Cerise Phiv:  Co-founder of Symaps.io (French AI Software) and Co-President of La French Tech Taiwan

  • Dr. Cho Hsin Su: Professor of International Relations at NCCU
