2024 French Chamber Gala Élégance in Motion
The Chamber hosted our annual Gala on 31st May 2024 in the Grand Hyatt Taipei.
The 2024 French Chamber Gala themed: "Elegance in Motion” is a tribute to French Elegance and the dynamism of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. In such spirit, the dresscode for the evening: the blue, white, red and a touch of gold are colours that no only symbolise the French Flag but also the excitement of the summer games.
Our evening began with a toast and greeting from our VIPs, including the Director of the French Office in Taipei, Franck Paris Deputy Director of the National Health Insurance Administration, Yi-Ming Pang; the Commissioner of the Department of Economic Development Taipei City, Chuan-An Chen; the French Chamber’s Chairwoman, Eva Leihener-Stefan, Secretary-General Shelley Chan, and the General Manager of the French Chamber, Stephane Peden.
For the opening show, we were honoured to transform the dinning hall into a catwalk welcoming the exclusive fashion show curated by the fashion designer Gioia Pan and the jewellry designer Cheng Nan Lu, for their autumn collection…like the wind. The collection reflects the elegance and the dynamism of the wind while the gold adornment is a subtle yet vital addition! The walk also featured a surprise guest, the Chinese Taipei Taekwondo Olympian, Lo Chia Ling!
The highlight for the evening, included our mainshow featuring a multitude of competitions seen in the Olympic, namely, rythmic olympics and this year’s latest addition, breakdancing performed by no other than our General Manager Stephane Peden!
The highlight for this year only gets better with the total amount of our lucky draw totalling over 1 Million NTD!! With particular mentions to some of our Premium Prize sponsors!
